Clare Wright has long been our top selling artist – her famous “Epernay” trees (above) being the most popular piece we have ever had in the gallery. Her previous show at FIZZ in 2014 was a phenomenal success with over 75% of the paintings sold on the preview night – such is her popularity. So, we are delighted to bring Clare back to meet you and launch her very latest collection of work in 2018.
About Clare Wright…
An ex Merchant Navy captain – the first female in the world to hold this position – Clare Wright is not your typical artist.
A naval career cut short by injury, led Clare to pick up paint brushes as part of her rehabilitation and she has never looked back. Her work is now collected world-wide yet remains affordable and accessible.
Always striving to experiment with new and challenging ideas, Clare creates beautiful, vibrant, pieces of art, often 3D and always unusual and different from anything anyone else has done. Living in the North West with her husband and grown up family, Clare’s warm, fun-loving personality is clear to see in her work and fills the room in real-life.
