Gallery Re-opening date – 18th June

Here’s another excuse to open a bottle of fizz – we’re re-opening this Thursday (18th) and we can’t wait to see you all – even though things will look a little different!  Our opening hours have changed and may change again but we’ll keep you fully posted.

We have implemented new ways of working to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience whatever your reason for coming to FIZZ.

The most important thing for us is the safety of our customers and our team. For the time being Sandy will be the only team member in the gallery, (whilst Fenella continues to work from home, with Rosie Dog!). She’ll be there to welcome you but things may take a little longer than usual, and due to limiting the number of people allowed in at any one time, you may be asked to wait outside for a short while. These are new and different times for us all, so please respect our safety measures and bear with us whilst we all settle in to our new normal.

To help keep everyone safe we ask you to:

Use the hand sanitiser provided, on entry and around the gallery
Follow our one-way system
Keep 2 meters apart from others and us
Not to touch anything on display – if you would like to buy something please ask
Pay by card only

We’ve introduced the following measures to help keep you safe:

Maximum mumber of shoppers at any one time will be 3
A safety screen at our serving bench
Increased deep cleaning practices
Disposable gloves to wear in the gallery if you would like them
For the moment, we can’t allow trying on of jewellery and scarves

We’ve spent the last week or so deep cleaning the gallery and making it look amazing – new things are arriving all the time and we’ve got great ideas for the coming months that will allow you to keep up to date with what’s new and contintue to enjoy the wonderful work our artists, designers and makers produce.

Shopping may be different for some time to come but we are embracing the challenge, finding new ways of doing things and taking every bit of positivity we can from the times we are in. Never before has it been so important to surround ourselves with beautiful things.
